LEX Chambers Management has a fully integrated 'Document Management Solution'. Documents are stored on a case by case basis with the ability for any barrister involved with the case and any member of the staffing team to scan, upload and attach documents to the case record. Any documents that are created by LEX Workflow (E.g. Chasing letters, Fee notes, etc) are also stored here for reference.

Not only does LEX have the ability to check files in and out, it also has a roll back facility. Access all previous versions of any document or simply restore a previous version.

The Document Management Tool allows users to edit documents locally on their own machine. By downloading and installing the LEX Desktop Services, LEX allows you to simply place files into one location on your desktop which then synchronise with LEX Server. There is NO need to laboriously upload single files one by one.

The fully scalable security model within LEX permits you to lock or share individual files with other users.
